The pens are inspired by the themes of "Roppongi" and "Ginza," which are well-known areas in Japan. Roppongi, once a town of samurai residences, was also known for goldfish farming due to abundant underground water. Today, Roppongi is a popular multifaceted area in Tokyo, encompassing downtown, business, and art districts. Sailor Pen's Head Office is even located in the Roppongi area. Ginza was home to a silver coin mint for the shogunate during the Edo period; "Gin" in Ginza means "silver. In the Meiji era, Ginza became a center of cutting-edge Japanese fashion, and even today, Ginza is an area that exudes glamor, luxury, and prestige.
