Taccia Limited Edition Maki-e Polar Lights Fountain Pen
Inspired by earth’s most spectacular natural phenomena, the Polar Lights has a mysterious cerulean blue base, one of the most difficult Urushi colors to produce. Each Raden Maki-e line is hand-inlaid underneath several coats of Urushi lacquer, then buffed to visibility. Finally, multiple layers of Kirurushi are applied and polished many times. Limited to 50 pieces and a two-tone 14K gold Japanese-made nib. Cartridge/converter fill.
