Developed at its prestigious atelier in Florence, Visconti's Opera Metal collection combines a classic shape with high-tech materials to create a pen with major 'wow' factor. The Opera is one of Visconti's most iconic models - its squared circle form is the perfect ergonomic shape for comfortable writing; its patented hook safe-lock system secures the cap. The Visconti Opera Metal series is made of anodized, colored avional. Avional is a high-strength yet lightweight aluminium alloy primarily used in aeronautics. Opera Metal is available in fountain pen, capped rollerball and ballpen models: Monza (black with red trim), Roadster (black and yellow).  The Opera Metal fountain pen is enhanced by Visconti's patented, Smartouch Tubular nib. The nib is turned from a capillary tube made of Chromium 18 steel. The tube precisely wraps around the feed, resulting in a unique shape that allows cleaner, more efficient filling and keeps the ink flowing longer.
