Visconti Limited Edition Medici Il Magnifico Fountain Pen
The Visconti Il Magnifico is named for Florentine statesman and Renaissance art patron Lorenzo de Medici, also known as Lorenzo Il Magnifico. The
body of the Red pen is made from solid Italian Levanto marble, its red hue chosen to match the official colors of the Medici family. The pen’s cap is crafted
in sterling silver engraved with a fleur-de-lis motif
(the symbol of Florence) and the cap crown holds
a Medici family coat of arms.
The body of the Green Serpentine pen is made from solid Italian Levanto marble and is faceted on eight sides like the Baptistery of Florence, whose famous doors are symbols of the Italian Renaissance. Visconti selected a rich green marble for the Serpentine which was inspired by elements of the Santa Maria Novella church in Florence.
Fountain pen has
Visconti’s 23K palladium nib and double reservoir
filling system. Limited to 388 pieces. Bottle fill.
