The barrel of the Homo Sapiens rollerball is enhanced by a central transparent acrylic ring that becomes a distinctive design feature. To achieve extreme lightness, every metal component has been reimagined: the titanium of the first Carbon Moiré gives way to Ergal, a special aluminum-based alloy used in aerospace engineering, renowned for its exceptional mechanical strength. The result is a perfect balance between solidity and writing comfort.
The carbon itself has also evolved: thanks to even more sophisticated manufacturing techniques, the fibers are denser, creating a stronger and more uniform surface. But it is the introduction of anodized blue aluminum alloy foil that radically transforms the model’s aesthetics. Among the carbon veins, iridescent reflections emerge, evoking the depth of a nocturnal ocean. In harmony with these chromatic vibrations, all Ergal metal parts undergo a deep-blue anodization process. This finish not only enhances resistance to corrosion and scratches but also gives the product a unique stylistic identity.
