‘Homage to Arman’ Mystery Filler limiteds

French-born American artist Arman (1928-2005), was a great exponent of Nouveau Réalisme, an artistic trend based on narrating mankind through everyday objects. His work is now in the collections of the Metropolitan Museum, the Tate Gallery and the Centre Pompidou. The new Pineider Mystery Filler fountain pens inspired by Arman’s art are an effort by Italian pen-making master, Dante del Vecchio, to innovate writing as an objet d’art in three distinct limited edition models. The Night & Day Rainbow has two cut-out sides and is crafted in iridescent Avional with palladium trim. The Trilogy is made of Marine Bronze accented with PVD deep black and has a repeating cut-out motif. The third pen, Doppler, has a filigree pattern on the cap and barrel crafted in titanium with rose gold trim. All three pens feature a beautiful skeletonized feather clip in marine steel, a magnetic twist-lock cap and the Pineider Hyperflex nib in 14K gold. Its breakthrough design gives the quill-cut nib a superb flex and smooth flow for expressive writing. The Homage to Arman limited edition pens are each presented in a ‘blackhole’ sculpted display piece; the Doppler Titanium pen is only available in the three pen set.
