The Pineider Avatar UR represents a design breakthrough by pen-making master Dante del Vecchio. Avatar UR utilizes Ultra- Resin, a mother-of-pearl compound resin in a special formula developed in Florence, Italy. The compound’s exceptional features make it preferable to celluloid, the historical material favored by the pen industry. UltraResin is extremely rigid, (like metal), is incredibly resistant to breakage, to oils, inks, electricity, to high and low temperatures, to UV rays and any weather conditions. Thanks to 3D engineering and high precision manufacturing, each individual pen is assembled without using a single drop of glue, precisely fitting with simple framed parts. The dome cap is anchored by a quill-shaped clip. The cap fastens to the barrel with an advanced magnetic closure. Metal cap band is etched with the Florentine skyline.
