Great pen!

This is a fantastic pen for the price. Mine has a 1.1mm stub nib and it writes beautifully. I am left handed, so I had to learn to find the correct orientation, but once I got the hand position and angle relative to the writing surface, I have had no trouble. I have used Diamine Red Dragon, De Atramentis Sepia Brown, and J. Herbin Rouge Hematite, all with great results.

This pen is a great value. It is a handsome instrument--quite eye-catching in the silver--and the exterior shows no sign of wear after two months of daily use and carry. The clip is spring steel and very strong. The cap threads on, but still posts nicely. It is a little top heavy posted, but I have never developed a preference, so I just don't post the cap if I don't feel like it.

What is your opinion of the quality of this item?
I would recommend this pen to anyone.

Very Disappointed

I own over 100 fountain pens (somewhat of a collector) and I was really looking forward to owning this one with a stub nib. Unfortunately, the ink flow is so poor that I can only write one or two words before it stops and I have to try and get the ink flow working again.

The Pen itself is nice looking and feels good to hold. The nib is a different story. As stated above, proper ink flow is an issue and I only got more and more frustrated trying to use the pen.

Since it doesn't write more than a couple of words before the ink fails to flow, I would have to say the value is not there.

What is your opinion of the quality of this item?
Overall, the pen is nice to look at and hold but fails in its main purpose of being able to actually use it.
