The Mountains of the World collection celebrates the world’s most alluring and inspirational natural wonders. These stunning landforms provide serene backdrops and serve as a constant reminder of nature’s abundance. We aim to capture the dynamic essence of each mountain range, displaying their unique tones and energy with every design.
Following its predecessors, the shape of the pen remains almost the same, however, the new design elements of the collection feature a matching resin endpoint with the metal ring, and a matching resin front section, which advances the look and feel of the pen. The collection is available in fountain pen and ballpoint modes. The fountain pen is equipped with a premium stainless steel #6 JoWo nib engraved with the Monteverde USA logo and fills via standard cartridge or converter (included). The nib is available in Extra Fine, Fine, Medium, Broad, 1.1mm Stub and Omniflex point sizes. The twist action ballpoint fills with standard Parker® style refills. Each Monteverde pen features a lifetime warranty and is sold in a luxurious gift box Monteverde is committed to the preservation of our endangered mountain forests and landscapes and will donate a portion of the proceeds from the Mountains of the World collection to organizations that work towards furthering that goal.
The Blue Mountains are a mountain range located in the northwestern part of the United States, stretching from the northeastern part of Oregon to southeastern Washington, covering approximately 15,000 square miles. The Blue Mountains have gained their name from the beautiful blue shade of the mountains when seen from a distance. Monteverde® Blue pen is inspired by the immense beauty and grandeur of these natural monuments. The design features high-quality resin in dark blue, light blue, and transparent representing the blue mountain color when seen from a far distance and the mountain peak. Polished rosegold rings and clip adorn the cap further enhancing the elegance of these unique pens.
The Ruby Mountains are a mountain range, primarily located within Elko County with a small extension into White Pine County, in Nevada, United States. The 'Rubies' were named after the garnets found by early explorers. The central core of the range shows extensive evidence of glaciation during recent ice ages. Glaciers gouged out basins that are now alpine lakes. The larger concentration of these is all located in the central core of the range. Monteverde® Ruby pen is inspired by the immense beauty and grandeur of these natural monuments. The design features high-quality resin in red, transparent, and grey representing the ruby color and the mountain peak. Polished chrome rings and clip adorn the cap further enhancing the elegance of these unique pens.
The Orange Mountains are a mountain sub-range of the Watchung Mountains located in northern New Jersey. The name “Orange” derives from the mountain’s composition of orange basalt due to the volcanic origin of the mountain range. Discovered campsites around the territory serve as evidence that these mountains were a home to the indigenous people of Lenape, who took advantage of the mountains’ rich soil, numerous rivers and streams, a variety of forests, and plentiful fish and game. The Orange mountains region is known for marvelous views and beautiful nature that leaves visitors with a long-lasting impression. Monteverde® Orange pen is inspired by the immense beauty and grandeur of these natural monuments. The design features high-quality resin in orange, transparent and black representing the orange basalt, rich mountain volcanic soil color, and the mountain peak. Polished gunmetal rings and clip adorn the cap further enhancing the elegance of these unique pens.
