Esterbrook Estie Sparkle! The Estie has been an integral part of the revival of the new Esterbrook brand. It’s sleek and stately in the hand and a great writing instrument for everyday use. Now the brand introduces the Estie Sparkle, a gem of a pen with a glitzy attitude! Esterbrook’s most ambitious pen to date, the limited edition Sparkle is a collaboration with a U.S. maker, Tim McKenzie of McKenzie Pen- works. Wanting to distinguish himself with a unique product, Tim did what any innovative, self-proclaimed geek would do: he added diamonds to the mix! Through research, Tim figured out the precise size diamond dust particles needed to allow his material to be machined effectively without losing the intense sparkle of the gems. The result is the patent-pending Diamondcast resin. This material shines from within, catches the light, and shimmers with each move of the hand across the page. Available in the oversize Estie model, the limited production Sparkle comes in Garnet Red and Tanzanite Blue with gold accents and Montana Sapphire with chrome accents. Each fountain pen has a large #6 JoWo nib – the serious writer’s friend.
