Cross proudly introduces two new characters to its Townsend Star Wars Limited Edition Collection. Inspired by beloved droid R2-D2 and the new fan favorite BB-8, each Townsend Star Wars writing instrument is crafted to reflect the spirit of its character. Recognizable details are elegantly etched into the Townsend profile: R2-D2 in brushed palladium plate with polished palladium accents; and BB-8 in white satin lacquer with rose gold plated fittings. R2-D2 has a cap crown inlaid with a smooth jet cabochon, while BB-8 is set with a faceted hyacinth Swarovski crystal. Choose from the outstanding Townsend fountain pen with 18K gold nib or the versatile Selectip capped rollerball. Limited to 1,977 numbered pens per mode – the release year of the original Star Wars: Episode IV film – each pen comes in a character-specific collector’s box with a Star Wars black acrylic pen stand and a certificate of authenticity signed by the Cross designer.
