The sale price was really great.

Hard not to love Cross pens, but as I grow older the sleek and traditional Cross pens were too difficult to work with, but the Townsend is just right for me. It feels like a great pen, and it is a great pen. I love the Cross and it's writing capabilities as much as some pens that are much more expensive. It will be one of the pens I carry with me regularly.

Stylish, Well Balanced Pen

I ordered this Townsend Ballpoint because I have always liked the Townsend profile, and the burgundy red and chrome cap looks sharp. The pen is actually well-balanced with a significant heft. The twist mechanism to extend the ballpoint is smooth, and writing is a pleasant experience.
