Product Description
Conklin Sterling Crescent Limited Edition Blue Demonstrator Fountain Pen
The Conklin Mark Twain Sterling Crescent Demonstrator is hand-made in Florence Italy and limited to only 98 numbered pieces world-wide. All metal parts on this stunning edition are forged from solid sterling silver. Choose from red with natural silver accents or blue with rose gold vermeil. The real story perhaps is the supple 14k FLEX nib, available in six unique sizes! The demonstrator barrels are hand turned and polished, allowing the user to monitor every part of the filling process. Each sterling mid ring is engraved with the limited edition number and Mark Twain’s distinctive signature. Since all inner parts are completely visible, many technical hurdles had to be overcome by our design engineers to bring this stunning beauty to life.
Advanced for its time and featuring a reliable filling mechanism, the Conklin Crescent Filler attracted attention from many prominent figures of the day, and in 1903 the renowned American author, Mark Twain, became the official ad spokesman for the Conklin Pen Company. The Crescent is known for its easy-to-fill reservoir. To load the pen, simply press the crescent mechanism on the barrel to empty the rubber bladder; ink flows back in as the crescent is released.
Bottle fill only.
