Conklin Limited Edition Mark Twain Crescent Ebonite Fountain Pen
Much like early models of the self-filling fountain pen, the latest homage to Mark Twain’s favorite pen is a breathtaking, limited edition Crescent that combines solid ebonite (hard rubber) with sterling silver accents.

The Conklin Limited Edition Mark Twain Ebonite Fountain Pen features a sterling silver mid-band that is engraved with Mark Twain’s signature, the silversmith’s hallmarks, and the pen’s unique number. Only 98 pieces of this crescent-filling classic will ever be produced. Its solid 14K gold nib is extremely flexible. Also available in italic fine or italic medium. Handmade in Florence, Italy. Bottle fill only.

What is your opinion of the quality of this item?
I have a different Conklin pen with an extra fine nib. I like it very much because it writes fine and the point is like points used in pen and ink drawing. The Ebonite I purchased only came with a fine point. I like the extra fine points. I sometimes write with a small script and the xf point is excellent for this. Fine points are too broad for writing in small script. I also have Italic nibs so I know how different nib sizes work and feel and what the writing looks like. I would recommend this pen because it writes well.

"My sister was jealous that I had sent her husbnd a pen from your catalog (he got the King of Aces pen), they thought it was the best pen they had ever used. So I bought her the Queen of Aces for her birthday." - Verified Buyer, July '17
