Conklin Limited Edition Israel 70 Fountain Pen
On May 14th, 1948, the Nation of Israel was proclaimed. To mark this milestone date, the Conklin Pen Co. is proud to present the limited edition Nozac Israel 70 collection honoring Theodore Herzl, the father of Israel, and the holy land of Israel. A revitalized design of a classic Conklin piston-filler model from 1931, the Nozac Israel 70 offers a unique eight-sided barrel and cap adorned with gleaming chrome appointments. Each pen recalls the Israeli flag, in handcrafted marbled pearlescent resins in sky-blue and bright white. Inspired by Theodore Herzl’s sacrifices for the freedom of his people and country, the top of the cap holds an engraved coin depicting the famous journalist. Each cap is magnetized for a secure, snap-on closure. The Conklin Nozac fountain pen is known for its rotating piston filler mechanism. Similar to winding a watch, simply twist the non-ending screw counterclockwise to create suction within the body, dip the nib into your ink of choice, and twist the screw clockwise to fill. The Nozac Israel 70 is a numbered, limited edition of 1,948 fountain pens with steel and iridium nib, and capped ball pens. Each piece is presented in a custom Israel 70 collector’s box and includes a bottle of commemorative Israel 70 blue ink, a Soft Roll ball pen refill and gel roller refill. Bottle fill only. Stub nib is all steel.
