Conklin Nozac Fountain Pen
In 1931, Conklin took the world by storm with the introduction of the first piston-filler fountain pen, the Nozac (or ‘no sack’). Now this timeless classic returns with a revitalized design sure to stun the writing world again! Based on the original polygonal design, the Nozac is handcrafted in acrylic resins and adorned with bright chrome on the clip, grip and ends. The Nozac features eight smooth faceted sides, a magnetized snap-on cap and the patented piston-filler mechanism at the barrel end. “It winds like a Watch”, read the initial marketing ads – just twist the non-ending screw counterclockwise to create suction within the body, then dip the nib into your ink of choice and twist the screw clockwise to fill. The Nozac is offered in multi-hued finishes of Toledo Red, a rich burgundy flecked with purple, gold, blue and orange, or Ohio Blue, a dazzling true blue dappled with shades of white, silver and green. The fountain pen comes fitted with Conklin’s iridium and steel nib; Capped ballpoint/rollerball style pen accepts standard style ballpoint refills and gel refills.
The Conklin Nozac is poised to change the fine writing world once again! Bottle fill only. Stub nib is all steel.
