This is a nice pen, with good filler, and a good smooth nib from the start. It has a nice weight to it.

LOVE THIS PEN!

What is your opinion of the quality of this item?

Love this pen, the way it holds ink, fill system, (and this super limited Ed. compared to the others), I keep it in my den or on my home office desk. This pen for this price ...absolutely worth it! Seems more crescent refills are coming out and I cannot say enough how much I love that! They just nailed it. It "is" a heavy weight but I enjoy writing both long term with it as much as using as a signature pen. Just be aware it is NOT a light pen. Price point to me was impressive! And the pen is well balanced in my hand. I'd say I have medium sized hands for a guy. I typically like slim and F Nibs, as I write small but this pen is fun to write with some flair to my writing for say short to medium length letters,, wider ruled if I must...or short notes, or again as a signature pen. It's pretty versatile to me. And very professionally appealing. LOVE Crescent fills, will be buying more!
