What is your opinion of the quality of this item?
I bought the Onyx color and am completely satisfied with it. The ink flows smoothly, and in a nicely controlled manner. I really do love this ink. It is a very rich black, and has substance to it. What I mean with that idea is that the ink just does not have one color going on the page and change after it dries. Nope, it stays the same rich color all the way to the page. It really is nice. As far as the packaging is concerned, the bottle is a cool looking as the ink works, simply, first class! What can I say....an absolutely beautiful ink. Best to all...

Sapphire actually turned out to be purple instead of blue. As purple ink it flows and writes well.

Wonderful, full-color ink.

Edelstein sapphier ink is awesome. Rich, beautiful and bold sapphire color that flows well.

Expensive but worth every penny!

Works best on "fine" paper but I use daily for signatures.
