Delta introduces the Sentinelesi limited edition, a new addition to its
renowned Indigenous People series. The Sentinelese people are one of
the most isolated and enigmatic ethnic groups in the world. Residing on
North Sentinel Island, one of the Andaman Islands in the Bay of Bengal, the
Sentinelese are known for their strict isolation from the rest of the world.
Inspired by the secluded Sentinelese tribe, the pen is handcrafted in intricate
detail, composed of countless materials, colors and finishes. All hand-turned
from solid bars, the colors reflect the sky, sea, earth, forest, that is, everything
one can see when approaching the island of North Sentinel. The clip is
inspired by the rudimentary weapon the people use to hunt. The fountain
pen 14K gold nib is engraved with the island’s geography and fills via a
piston-filler mechanism. All accents feature 24K gold plating. Limited to 388
fountain pens and rollerballs worldwide.
