Instead of aluminum (like the original Aero), the Flame is crafted in stainless steel to give the pen more weight and durability.

The flame effect is created by hand using a blowtorch – a time-consuming process because of the pen’s large size and the grooved surface. Each one is unique – no two pens will be exactly alike. Clear lacquer is applied to protect the surface and add sheen. A matte black clip adds edgy appeal. The fountain pen nib is custom-made in stainless steel to offer smooth writing. The Aero Flame also comes in a twist ball pen or capped rollerball.
