The smoothness of this ballpoint blew me away!

I was really shocked by how smooth this refill is. It's got to be the smoothest ballpoint refill I have ever written with, and not wet at all. I wonder if it's smoother than the Caran D'Ache Goliath refill I have in my 849 pen. Really impressed here. Great refill! Hope it lasts a long time too.

"Oh, my, what an absolutely beautiful set of pens! More importantly, they work beautifully. I filled the fountain pen with the purple ink that came with the set, and the ink began flowing as soon as I touched the nib to paper--without any skipping or gobby spots.
