Better Than I Expected!

This is my first Otto Hutt Pen and I have to admit, its stunning! I opened the box up and was like, ok, now this is sweet! Smooth as silk, quality body, and the metals are astonishing in quality. Polish cloth came with it, and you will want it for the gold points.
I have a massive pen collection of some high end pens, and my wife is accustomed to packages in the mail. When sh saw this one, she said "Ok, this has to be the best one of the ones I've seen thus far!" he fell instantly in love with it. Well she likes the classy and more flashy things, and loves Gold and Jewelry. She doesn't even know it, but being she happened to walk in when I was checking it out, (from work and I didn't hear her) lol...I guess I nailed it because its actually for her!
You cannot beat this pens quality at this price point by any means!
I also LOVE that it takes my favorite Refills of the ACME 888 fine tips. The pen came with Blue Ink which I was a little surprised by. Nothing wrong with its ink, many will likely really like it! But I threw in a 888 Black fine tip and writes so sweet!!
I just ordered the black and gold waves (Another place as its not in stock here yet, but I couldn't wait lol) I "Need" one for me too! ha! And Ill keep the 888 Schmidt/ACME refills in it. German pen needs German ink in my opinion, Ha! It is my favorite refill for any of my pens that take it. So this was a great PLUS for me personally. Again, their ink was fine!
I do wish it came in a nicer box, its not the "best" in presentation but I can solve that easy enough before wrapping it. That aside which has nothing to do with the pen itself...this is a stunner! And a true must have for a pen collector. What a bargain!! I don't want it to sound like you can't use their packaging for a gift, you can. I just think there is a much better way to "case/display" this pen for gift giving.
I have some MontBlancs that by no means can measure up to this. This is really more for business meetings, and for my wife cards/notes/letter writing as well. Ive no doubt that the black one will work for me for clinical notes and letter writing (its not too heavy at all, a good balanced weighty....my personal opinion. ..its NOT super light, its a real good moderate weight, so you can comfortably use for length writing, note writing or sigs. Smooth as silk, just love the feel of this in my hand! Ill be buying some more Otto Hutt Pens no doubt about it!
Thank you for the SUPER FAST Shipping too! This pen is just a real stunner and has great functionality! Screw on cap, and it does post if you desire. No way I can see anyone going wrong buying this pen who wants a nice pen for their wife (its what I'd call "semi unisex", but leans towards more for women though I'd use it ...I already did test drive it lol.... Can't wait to have the black/gold waves arrive for me!
Again can't say enough good about this pen. At this price, its a must have!
