The quality is excellent. The parts fit together very well. The extension/retraction mechanism has a very solid feel when activated. The nib storage pocket opens and closes with precision. I am confident that the pocket will keep the nib from drying out for an extended period of time.
Oh, and the pen has an excellent writing feel :-).

This pen fits nicely in my hand. I'm a 6 foot, so it's a good size for a man. I had to get on YouTube to figure out how to put the converter in, which was rather fun, really. It's lightweight which I enjoy. The fine point is borderline too fine. I'm thinking of getting a medium point as well. Overall, happy with this purchase.

I got the fine nib and this was just as smooth and fabulous as I could have hoped for! You'll need to order ink cartridges since it doesn't take universal/Parker/Sheaffer/Pilot/Cross. Setting it up was daunting for about 5 minutes, then it made sense and I was off to the races! This has a BIG reservoir! I'm left handed and the clip didn't bother me. Doesn't dry up in-between uses and have to be re-hydrated - its ready to roll when you are.
I love Namiki, they have gold nibs and wonderful design, but this is a great option for the price.
