What is your opinion of the quality of this item? Excellent price for this price range fit, finish and feel are grate. The nib writes smooth with no drag and clean ink flow(no spots or skips) an excellent every day pen. Only disappointment no converter in the box but I had an extra one in the desk. With converter installed and the pen inked I took the pun for a dance across the page veary nice pen (needs to come with a converter). It's an IM grate feel and weight with a look reminiscent of the real Vacs I collect job well done. For those of us who grew up with and learned to write using this type of pen its strait forward, install the converter if you have one ink the pen and write simple. (Order a Parker converter and a bottle of ink with this pen you wont regret it) At this price everyone should own one or two. Its a grate every day pen and the perfect place to start with Fountain pens. Pick one up with a converter and a bottle of ink and discover the joys of writing. Who knows maybe you will send a loved one a real letter they can hold onto and revisit as often as they wish.
