This is a pen of far higher quality than one might think, based on its modest price. The grassy green pen with black trim is a particularly handsome specimen. It is cleverly designed to look like a ballpoint, and then surprises when a nib emerges after the click. It is by far the pen with the least fuss and muss associated with its use of all the many fountain pens which I own. The Pilot Vanishing Point is a great value. What is your opinion of the quality of this item? I'm in love with this pen, even though I have others that are far more expensive. It is smooth to hold, utterly reliable, and gives my words a distinctively bold look on the page. I use it for everything, from sending out my bills, to writing up my grocery list, to taking notes at meetings.
