What is your opinion of the quality of this item? The quality of the way they look is fantastic. However I wish the mechanism isn't great. They are cute to display but I don't often pick one up to write with. I bought them for the design and their colors are true. It doesn't write the way I expect a rollerball to write, it writes more like a ball point. Absolutely. Each time a new color comes out I buy it. These really are stunning and beautiful to display. Really love these pens. However it's a missed opportunity to not deliver refills that match the beautiful colors of these pens. If I could get rollerball refills that match the Color of each pen, I would take these off their display and use them daily.

What is your opinion of the quality of this item? The build quality is superb, the idea is novel, it has a heft to it - this is no light writing implement. The ACME refill does not last long and is only available in fine. Cute idea and sure to be eye-catching, especially at business meetings or other stuffy environments. Easy breezy. But ink can be problematic, since it is capless and a rollerball point. It is a bit over priced. Would walk off the shelves at $25 I think. The craftsmanship is nice, the idea novel, but since it only comes in one point thickness (fine), it can be scratchy if the ink starts to dry, which happened to me with the ACME version of the refill. The Schmidt refills say they will last 365 days - we'll see!
