I like the barrel size, fits me comfortably. I have several in different designs. I use them at work, for woodworking, & in my model building. I have 2 sizes of lead pencils, 1.15mm & 0.7mm. The larger size doesn't break as easy as the thin lead. However each size has its use & purpose. I miss the option of the pink eraser replacement. I have the older yellow version that looks like a traditional pencil. Solid feel & well built. These are well built mechanical tools!

This has quickly become my favorite pencil. The lead makes writing non-scratchy and the line is beautifully thick. Retro 51 is known for its quirky designs on the barrel but this one is a departure: just sleek and black, like the lines it puts down. If you like quirky, there are plenty of other options, all with the terrific 1.15 mm lead. If you crave classic, here it is. Merchant Response
