EXCELLENT. It GLOWS IN THE DARK a soft, lovely blue! What a surprise. Alice In Wonderland blue metal is beautiful, and the barrel pattern is fun and attractive. Photos are accurate. Retro 51 Tornado Mechanical Pencils are solidly built, flawless in use & mechanics, and perfect for all my writing because the lead size at 1.15 is PERFECT because it has a nice size line "regular sized" line, but NEVER breaks off while writing. The 1.15 size is my favorite general purpose size (though I like Faber Castell E-Motion 1.4mm also). The Faber Castell 1.4 size feels more stout, whereas the Retro 51 1.15 size seems like the perfect pencil lead thickness. I have 3 of each now.
