What is your opinion of the quality of this item? consistently even inkflow The hooded nib is quite lovely. Has an nice retro look. I write with a heavy hand and this nib responds with a smooth glide. This pen is currently #1 in my rotation so it's cost per letter is quickly dropping. The price is justifiable. I did not expect to purchase this pen when I was at Farney's in February - it wasn't on my short list of purchases. As soon as I tried it, there was not turning back.
