This is my second venture with a Shaffer fountain pen. I was attracted to the hooded nib. I’m left handed so it’s a bit of an adjustment curve with almost any fountain pen. This pen has a snap cap that works great. In terms of size, this pen is on the thinner side. If you’re one with larger hands this may not be for you. We all have different tastes in pens. This is not my favorite but I’ll keep it in rotation. I have no regrets ordering this pen.
