Outstanding beauty, feel, and function -- best pen I own

I have purchased about 5 pens in this price range and after one week of owning the Sailor (my first Sailor pen) I can say it is a clearly the finest writing instrument I have owned.
The deep purple color is beautiful. The dark nib color is also appealing. The material of the barrel allows for a non-slip grip and feels wonderful in my hand. This is the cleanest writing extra-fine nib I have used. Most "extra-fine" nibs do not meet my standards as truly extra-fine. Some of my writing needs require a super fine nib, and although a 35 year old Pilot I own has a narrower line, the extra fine nib on this pen is truly extra fine and I can write quickly as the ink flows quickly, and without any scratching.
I am going to start looking for my 2nd Sailor pen.
