Superb Pineider Avatar ballpoint pen and ergonomic for me

Wow. Love this pen 5 min into me receiving it. Lovely flex clip. Size is perfect for me even though I have hands 20 cm long (from wrist to top) and is lovely color Ebolon green (nice blue - green mix). It has a slight taper which I prefer for my grip style and the top is not huge difference in girth compared to bottom (as I hate when the top section is way wider than bottom in twist ballpoint pens making the pen look weird as if posting a fountain pen). Nice, nice pen and I will definitely get me at least one more for me and maybe one for my wife. It also came with Pineider easy flow 9000 refill for those that care. I like the refill but I also like Schmidt Softline refill (more of a recent newer refill from them). I LOVE it!

Fantastic current favorite pen.

Fantastic pen. The Pineider Avatar UR Ballpoint is the pen I always reach for first, though I have many beautiful pens. The first I purchased was Angel Pink, about 2 years ago. I have been hoping these would still be available to buy a second, & I just added the Abalone Green. These pens are on the smaller size, and though I have a large hand, and have many large and mid-sized pens, this one seems like the perfect fit. Mechanically it is flawless. My Abalone Green (very similar to the photo shown) is a gorgeous iridescent, shiny resin with a depth of interlaced colors of the sea: navy, turquoise, royal blue, a little bit of gold, and even less of actual green. Despite the name "Abalone green", I would call it a turquoise blue. Blue lovers will love this. I like the Abalone Blue better than my Angel Pink, though that has been my favorite since I bought it due to it's terrific feel in my hand. My particular Abalone Pink has a lot of very very pale pearl-pink with streaks of orange-rust color. My personal Angel Pink has a higher percentage of very pale pearl pink than shown in the photo. I hope these continue to be available as I would love to own all the colors. I realize others prefer fountain pens or roller balls in high-end pens, but I got my fill of fountain pens in the 1950's and 60's, and rollerballs never thrilled me. I like a high-quality ballpoint pen due its simplicity and longevity of cartridges.
