You pay for what you get. When I saw this pen on sale for 30 to 40 percent off, I decided to try the Tibaldi brand. It has a steel nib and it is so well tuned it writes as well or better than my Pilot gold nibs or my Lamy2000 gold nib, or my Pelikan Pura. My Excellent writing experience has just been expanded by this Tibaldi. I love it!
