I have this pen in gunmetal with red trim and it is captivating. The fit and finish and heft are those of a much more expensive pen. Writes as well as it looks!

What is your opinion of the quality of this item? the stub nib is perfect for note taking and signatures. Really adds a flair to the daily grind! Yes well balanced instrument with good quality and flexibility. I might be purchasing a spare for my home office.

It writes great. Only problem is that the finish scratches rather easily. As long as you keep it from knocking into other things, it looks great (and the scratches aren't terribly noticeable).

The pen is a medium sized with good heft, it feels high quality and substantial while writing. Nib is smooth and of medium ink flow (i.e. not overly "wet"). Nice design, the blue on the silver and blue model just pops Steel nib is large and fits the size of the pen (even steel nibs on some lesser expensive pens are too small these days). Gripping section is the same blue color, and is comfortable to hold. I post the cap when writing and the balance seems just right. Comes with a converter (again, a lot of pens at this price point will not have a converter in the box). An above average daily writer regardless of price. At this price point, it is an excellent pen. I recommend it.
