I ordered all three colors because I love the Mega Inkball and was hoping to have a fountain pen in that scale as I have large hands. I was disappointed to see that this pen is about 20 percent smaller in proportion to the original Mega. I have not inked them yet because I am still on the fence about returning them.

The Monteverde Mega is every bit as good as I hoped it would be. I love the 1930s/Art Deco styling! The pen has a good heft to it, yet it's light in the hand. I got the Fine nib, and it's beautifully free-flowing and smooth (although it is a bit of a nail). All in all, this pen is well worth the money! Merchant Response
