I have been looking for a fountain pen pocket pen for some time. I like to carry a small pen in my pants pocket and have been limited to ball point pens. I love to use fountain pens so I thought I would give the Monteverde Axis Matte fountain pen a try. It has exceeded my expectations. I like the magnetic closure that keeps the pen closed while bouncing around in my pocket. It is easy to hold, smooth writing, just an all-around excellent fountain pen. I heartily recommend it.
