It is of high quality and well designed. I was a bit hesitant about the rouge color, but the red is a tasteful red; it is not flamboyant or gaudy. It is one of my heavier pens, but the balance is good, and I love writing with it but do not post the cap. The cap unscrews from the base--you can feel the taught engineering when you do.

The picture of the rouge color does not do it justice. It is a sparkly color that will amaze you.

The quality I would expect of a pen of this price. Writes smoothly on most any kind of paper. I bought the roller ball and was delighted when I started writing with it. I own about a hundred roller ball pens and this became my favorite the first time I picked it up. I would think anyone buying this pen will be extremely pleased and eager to show it off. The quality is superb.
