What is your opinion of the quality of this item? Item feels very cheap. Threads are sharp and the step between barrel and section is HUGE. Nib was very scratchy and had to be smoothed on micromesh before it was useable. The step between barrel and section make the pen very uncomfortable to use. Pen feels like 5 dollar Chinese or Indian pen. Pen uses cartridge or converter (what I used). Worked okay, not much to say here. This pen would have been okay as one of the pens you can get for a few dollars on eBay like a Jinhao. At $75 it's a complete rip-off. Not worth the money. There are many other fountain pens at this price point that are far better.

What is your opinion of the quality of this item? High Quality Gorgeous design. Love the marbled acrylic. Big pen, but a pleasure to write with. Yes. Just received the pen yesterday. Been doodling for about an hour now and the pen writes very smooth and nicely. Very handsome pen.

What is your opinion of the quality of this item? I am not pleased with the quality. First the box is cheap and from China. The silver tape looks like it came off a roll. The pen is just simple plastic. Nothing special at all. I bought all three because I am a huge Esterbrook fan. This is not like the original Esterbrook's so I am not too sure what they were trying to achieve. The pen doesn't hold well in your hand. The section between the nib and the barrel presses on your finger and you need to hold it closer to the nib because it's like there is a ledge that the barrel drops off from. On the positive side, the medium nib writes nicely. No. It's not worth the 70.00. I would wait to see what else they come out with because this is a copy of another pen. There is no nib choice. You get a medium whether you want it or not. Box is cheap with a sticker on it. Pen is a copy from another manufacture. Very awkward to hold.
