What is your opinion of the quality of this item? The quality is solid. A weighty pen with a good balance Where the pen rests on the finger is unique in that it's not smooth, like most pens. It creates a different feel when writing but is not uncomfortable A bit pricey, but the limited quantity and historic nature of the pen seems worth it. I purchased this item after much consideration because Esterbrook is a US company producing a pen that certainly is promoting a very US icon.
