What is your opinion of the quality of this item? I've been collecting fountain pens for many years and now have quite a few to compare to this pelikan souveran m600 in Vibrant green. In terms of size and feel it is more like a Montblanc 145 Chopin but is a piston fill like the larger Monblanc 146. It is larger than the pelikan m400 and Montblanc 144. Not too skinny, just the right size for a medium hand. I have a pelikan m800. It's a wonderful pen, just too fat and heavy to use for long periods of writing, This one is lighter in weight, fits my hand perfectly and writes like a dream. I got it with a broad nib and I'm not disappointed at all. The nib puts down a nice wet line of ink in a very controlled fashion. Once I start writing with it i don't want to put it down. I have been a confirmed fan of Montblanc for years And I think they make the finest pens around, but of all my pens this pelikan m600 is right up there on top of my favorites list. Well thought out design Writes perfectly right out of the box. This is a great pen. Well built and fun to write with.
