Overall I have always enjoyed the quality of the Pelikan pens (I love the pelican face as the clip!) and have quite a few. I hesitated buying this pen because of the price, but after using it, I am assured it is worth the price. This pen will last forever with daily use. It is a little heavier than the less expensive Pelikan pens, yet weighted properly so that even with my small hands, it is very comfortable to write with. Also, love the black and gray stripes--very classic & elegant. It will never go out of style. All Pelikan pens are weighted properly for the most comfortable use. Don't hesitate--it is well worth the price paid. It will last forever and be handed down. It's of heirloom quality, yet comfortable enough to use daily.
