Love the smoothness and quality of this pen!

I have a "Pelikan Nest" with 9 pens, mostly demonstrators so when I saw this special new color I had to buy it to fill up the case. Writes beautifully for a stainless steel nib.

What is your opinion of the quality of this item? Excellent quality of materials and workmanship for the price. Traditional Pelikan design with a piston fill you just cannot beat. Very attractive color with a convenient view of the ink level. Filling is quick and easy with no blobbing of ink on paper after the fill. The nib is immediately responsive and writes a generous line (mine is a medium nib) with hardly any pressure placed on the pen. This pen lives up to the Pelikan tradition of excellent writers. No question, the pen is well worth the money. With care, this pen will last a lifetime and give many hours of pleasurable writing. Many Pelikan pens are in my collection, and none have ever disappointed. If I were to own only one pen, it would have to be a Pelikan, and this pen carries on that tradition very well.
