Excellent quality.My husband gave it to me for Christmas one year,he was very generous when it came to getting items I wanted to make it easier to color my pictures I use colored pencils on and I need a very fine point. This sharpener gives me that.

This sharpener reminded me of the one we had when I grew up in the 60's and 70's. Haven't been able to find a decent one since then. It took me about 2 years and 27 broken pencils to break down and buy this one because of the investment. Really regret not doing it sooner. This is going to be my standard housewarming gift for my pencil loving friends. classic
