What is your opinion of the quality of this item? When you pick up a pen, the first thing you notice is it's "heft" - how does it feel in your hand. Then, if it's a ball pen, you "click" to see how it extends the ballpoint. A good click tells you that there's quality inside. The old Parker T-ball jotters from the 1960's and '70's have that great click - find one and you'll know what I mean. This pen has a much "softer" and smoother "click" and I think that makes it a winner for me. The carbon fiber barrel is very cool. I follow auto racing and these days, just about every car is using carbon fibre for its strength and light weight. Having a small piece of racing technology in my pocket makes me smile. The clip isn't "high tech" but it works. I would like a more sophisticated clip design (think of some of the Lamy clips for inspiration). The refill is easy to replace. As mentioned before, the "click" is one of its best features. Amazing price for what I think is a great everyday "user" pen. Plus it uses the ubiquitous Parker style refill offering you virtually any color, point and ink (gel and regular) in existence. Plus Parker refills are pretty inexpensive and available everywhere. I love mine and use it for crossword puzzles - I click it while I'm thinking!
