Really unique & lovely to use

I loved the elegant color combination and the bold graphic quality of the contrasting cream lines and shiny black cap of this pen as soon as I saw it. I also think this bold aesthetic is conveyed through the somewhat over large clip design, which is extremely easy to engage, yet very secure. The 18k two tone nib is gorgeous and echoes the shield motif found on the engraved cap finial and the end piece. I chose a broad nib, then had it ground to a cursive italic. It’s a lovely tool for showcasing inks with my current favorite colors, or shading or other fun aspects, such as sheen or shimmer. I also very much enjoy showing off the unusual filling system, and have had no difficulty using the cartridge converter and metal nib unit combination. I hope to have the pen to enjoy and to show off for many years to come.
