Has become my daily go to pen. I'm left handed and write overhand. I have the fine nib and find that the flex nib gives me a lot of "flexibility". Does well when being pushed, doesn't skip, and is expressive. I recently started on changing my writing fundamentals from overhand to underhand. Not an easy thing to do when you're 66 years old. This pen has been an aid in the learning process. Would buy is again if the need came up. Light weight, yet feels secure in my hand. Would like to see it come with a stub nib. As a side note, the pen was stepped on and broken, the only surviving element being the nib. Fahrney's was able to replace the broken elements.

I collect fountain pens, with most major brands represented. Unlike many collectors, I use ALL of them. They range in price from ~$30 to over $800. This pen has become a constant resident in my shirt pocket for the quality of the writing experience. For day to day working, I am unable to find any negatives. I have tiny writing, and this pen allows clear lines with my micro-cursive handwriting, preserving legibility. I plan to keep at least one on hand at all times.
as near to a perfect design as I've experienced
remarkably easy to use
a genuine bargain.

Great Pen!

Have only had the pen for a week and it already is one of my favorites. Smooth, great feel and the flexible nib is as promised. I have a "light" hand so I don't use the full range of the nib, but in my everyday writing, it is wonderful. Quality is fine and I like the fact that there is a floating weight in the filler, that keeps the ink flowing perfectly.
As promised.
Wonderful.

Best fountain Pen I Own and I Own Many

I own and use several Falcons for writing and sketching. They work very well - ink flow is just right and the nibs are responsive my various pressures to create interesting lines. They clean well and quickly.
The designs of the nib and pocket clip are unique and work well. The nib design, I believe, aids the flexibility thus line creativity. The pocket clip is distinctive and looks and functions well when in the pocket.
The is a smooth writing instrument without the expense of gold. Pilot has the lead with this nib.
All things considered this fountain pen is an excellent value. For writers and sketchers like me, it is a great buy. I have several and take one or two when traveling for notes and sketches. Not heavy like more expensive pens tend to be. You are paying for performance not the pound.
What is your opinion of the quality of this item?
I will have a Falcon with me at all times.

Pilot always makes superior writing products at reasonable prices.
The finish is excellent. A gold trimmed red pen would have been even more luxurious.
It is easy to load and fill with either the converter or the cartridges.
We got a quality writing instrument for our money.
What is your opinion of the quality of this item?
My wife had a ball writing her Christmas cards with her new red jewel of a pen.
