What is your opinion of the quality of this item? I have only tried this in in color brown. It is my favorite brown. Works well in all pens I have tried it in. No problem with fine nibs, med. or stub nibs.

What is your opinion of the quality of this item? THIS IS A FINE INK FOR THE RIGHT PEN AND WORKS WELL WITH MY PELIKAN WITH MEDIUM NIB BUT I CANNOT USE IT WITH AN EXTRA FINE NIB. AS WITH ANY INK FROM A QUALITY PEN COMPANY ONE HAS TO MATCH IT TO THE RIGHT PEN AS I DID WITH MY PISTON FILL PELIKAN WITH MEDIUM NIB. I WOULD NOT USE IT WITH A CONVERTER FILL OR A VERY FINE NIB AS IT SEEMS TO INCREASE THE SCRATCHY QUALITIES OF AN EXTRA FINE NIB. WHEN IT WORKS WELL IT IS 5 STARS. WHEN IT DOES NOT WORK WELL IT IS 2 STARS AT BEST. ONCE I FOUND THE RIGHT PEN FOR IT I WOULD GIVE IT 5 STARS. IT FUNCTIONS AS IT CLAIMS BUT ONLY WITH THE RIGHT PEN WHICH IS NOT UNUSUAL WITH FOUNTAIN PENS, INKS, AND PAPER WHICH ALL MUST BE BALANCED TO ENJOY WRITING.

What is your opinion of the quality of this item? Although less expensive, this ink bleeds and feathers on marginal paper more easily than other inks. On really good paper, it is OK, and indeed dries quicker than thicker inks, but still it is not what I need for much of my work as a physician.I
