The Montblanc Meisterstück Around the World in 80 Days collection
draws its inspiration from Jules Verne’s renowned adventure novel.
Embarking on the final leg from Yokohama back to London via the
United States, Phineas Fogg and Passepartout traverse the vast
American continent by train. Delve into the intricate details – a train
elegantly lasered on the cap, a safety chain pattern on the cone,
noting the pivotal moment as Passepartout detaches the train
to save the crew being attacked by Sioux. The cap design recalls
pressure valves and billowing smoke of the locomotive, while
the clip boasts a red lacquered heart card, symbolizing the union
between Phileas Fogg and Princess Aouda. The cap top bears the
embossed timeline – 36 days from Yokohama to London, for a grand
total of 80 days around the world. Elevating this writing instrument
is a handcrafted 18K or 14K gold nib marked with 14/11 and 21/12 –
to mark Mr. Fogg’s departure from Yokohama on November 14 and
his ambitious return to the London club by December 21 to win the
wager. It is also adorned with a depiction of a hot air balloon.
