Visconti Medici Briarwood collection
The Visconti Medici Briarwood collection pays homage to the Renaissance
rulers of Florence by crafting luxury pens that embody the spirit of artistic
excellence and elegance that the Medici family represented. The pen’s shape
is designed following the principles of the golden ratio and enriched with new
features such as the demonstrator central ring, skeletonized with the official
emblem of Florence, the lily. The ink loading system features a capacious
power-filler double reservoir, and the clip has been replaced with a new
enameled version. The pen is crafted in Acrosilk, an innovative material first
introduced by Visconti, which is a compound of acrylic resin and silk fibers. The C
special acrylic blend has been sandblasted to a fine satin finish giving the look B
of finished wood grain and accented in two plated metallic trims: ruthenium
or yellow gold. The fountain pen offers Visconti’s 18K gold in-house nib. The A
collection also includes a matching capped rollerball and a twist ball pen.
