Following the success of its first Comedia collection, Visconti embarks on a
new journey through Dante’s immortal masterpiece, the Divine Comedy. The
limited edition is dedicated to the timeless figures that have represented
the human soul throughout centuries of literature and history. The first two
protagonists in this ongoing series, Virgilio and Caronte, pay homage to the
guiding wisdom and the unrelenting force of fate that shape the journey of the
afterlife. Virgilio, the poet and Dante’s unwavering guide through Inferno and
Purgatorio, embodies reason, wisdom, and the pursuit of knowledge. Echoing
his flowing white tunic and laurel crown, the Virgilio writing instrument
features yellow gold accents and a polished resin body in shades of ivory, with
hints of laurel green and fire red. The Caronte pen embodies the essence of B
the boatman of Hades through a striking dark gray-blue coloration, evoking
the turbulent waters of the infernal river. Dark ruthenium finishes enhance its
shadowy aura. The central ring on both pens is engraved and enameled with
Virgilio or Caronte’s name. Both are available in fountain pen with Visconti’s A
large steel nib, rollerball and ball pen – each a limited edition of 999 pieces C
